31 Inmates Give Their Lives to Christ in Kitale Main Prison

A total of 31 inmates gave their lives to Christ. The prisoners surrendered to Christ during Imani & Bethel Church visitation. After preaching an alter call was made and many gave their lives at the prison’s chapel. The visit was organized by Imani ministries in conjunction with Bethel  Church, Kitale.

Mixed Reactions emerge over CS Amina Mohamed sentiments on HELB loans .

MP Embakasi East Babu Owino has raised alarm over news by the cabinet secretary education Amina Mohammed .CS Amina Mohammed declared that they are going to partner with police officers to hunt for people who have defaulted paying HELB loans. Babu Owino said instead of looking for loan defaulters the ministry needs to carry out investigations as to why students have failed to repay the loan. Babu Owino cites unemployment among the youth being the main cause.

Students of Alupe University Busia county Teso North have sworn not to attend to lectures. They have called upon the university administration to address the issue of uncertified courses affecting them. Alupe University is among the universities that have been affected with courses that have not been approved by Commission for University Education (CUE).The commission cites lack of infrastructures, insufficient classrooms and properly constuted library to offer the courses.
